The Richland School District is pleased to announce that Dan Evans has been appointed to the Richland School Board to fill Position #3, with a term ending in November 2027. He will be officially sworn in at the October 28 school board meeting.

Dan is the Director of Engineering at Translation Technologies Inc. and brings more than 25 years of professional experience in engineering, leadership, and project management. In addition to his career, he has dedicated significant time to volunteer service in our community.

As a parent, Dan has a strong connection to RSD. Three of his children have graduated from Richland schools, and his youngest is currently in middle school in the RSD. His family has been a part of several school communities in our district over the years.

Dan believes deeply in the role of schools as both serving and being a part of the community. His vision centers on strengthening community partnerships to ensure RSD can continue to provide high-quality educational opportunities for all students.

We look forward to welcoming Dan at the October 28 board meeting and to the experience and perspective he brings to the School Board.
