Delran Preschool Program to Continue Half-Day Specialized Services Model for 2026-2027
Delran Township Public Schools has announced that its Preschool Program will continue operating in a half-day format during the 2026-2027 school year.
The program will offer both morning and afternoon sessions and will be limited to students requiring special education services. District officials explained that current enrollment levels and projected instructional needs have led to the continuation of the existing model.
According to the district, available staffing and classroom capacity are aligned with supporting students who require specialized preschool instruction and related services. At this time, the district does not have the capacity to expand programming to accommodate a larger student population.
District leaders remain committed to providing high-quality early childhood educational experiences that meet the unique needs of eligible students while maintaining appropriate staffing and support structures.
Families with questions regarding eligibility, enrollment, or special education services are encouraged to contact the district’s Special Services Department for additional information.
